What have you been doing lately bro?

Man I feel like the last 2 months have just gone past in like 2 weeks. What with moving into a new flat, various parties, going out, going to the snow etc.

Way back in April some of us dudes decided to go on a "skate tour" which mostly considered of getting drunk in the campground taking bebo styled pictures and laughing at drunk 17 year olds and slighty gay hand holding skating. You can see all the photos here on the FriendBook.

Oh yeah also in that album are some photos of Splore, which seems aaaaaagggges ago. That was super fun times, Pharoah Monch was awesome, but in my opinion Kora KILLED it.

Oh yeah, Easter was fun too, went to Uretiti, more quasi gayness and drinking, haha, photos also on the friendlybook.

Many weekends were spent having a fun mast time at the Wembley flat, especially enjoyed was "mattropolis".

We made Kava

It was pretty gross

I DJed at Fu bar a couple of times at this party called "Rockers in Session", it was pretty fun, come along to the next one if you havent came already, check out their myspace and facebook

We had a party at my flat for the new flatmates (Me and other new comer Nat) and leaving flatmate (Danielle). It turned out real awesome with plenty of dancing and drink spillage and noise control at 2:30am. More photos than you can handle here.

And just this past weekend me a mean as crew (Stu, Sarah, Nico, Simon, Carl, Chris) went down to the mountain for the first time this season. The weather was real shit on saturday but then real nice on sunday but the snow was REAL icey, but hey it was still fun to be snowboarding again. Me and Nico got toasted on the way down, some intense games of 20 Questions were played (I'm still annoyed at Sarah's "I'm the letter O"!), MANY stinky farts and burps stunk out the cabin, funtimes were had on saturday night, good chinese at Taumaranui.

Also we developed a new form of drumming, it kinda hurts though, heh.

If you are feeling sad or bummed out, I gaurantee by the end of it you'll be smiling, and if you are already in a good mood youll be in a even better one.

Yay!

ps. please dont watch/listen to only a bit of it, for full effect you must watch the whole video :)

cartoons

I quite like cartoons (or are these classed as comics? or comic strips?) anyways, these are some choice as ones that I found online.

This one is just the same dinosaur strip each time but with different words each time, sounds weird (and it is) but its surprisingly funny as
the reason why I found this site is cos the dudes friend used the strip as an excercise for his students who were learning english, he got them to write in what the dinosaurs say and the results are awesome, here This site is only for real hard out awesome geeks, some of the cartoons involve maths, awesome huh? (thanks Rebekah for putting me onto this site)

Also this site is pretty awesome too, I sent Paul a bunch of links to the ones I thought was funny the other day while talking to him on msn and he said "I dont really think those are funny", oh well, I think they are funny, maybe you do too, heh

Garfield minus Garfield
bonus comic-video for people who dont wanna read

if you know any other choice comic/cartoon websites and stuff lemme know! (comments or email or EVEN by talking is acceptable)
ps. you MUST vote now for which is your favorite cheese! Blue Vein has broken out just ahead of Camembert, its the battle of the century! more exciting than Obama vs Hillary! vote now!!!

日本の45's

(My apartment, Akama, Japan, August 2006)

So, while I was in Japan I bought heaps of records, in particular I bought alot of reggae/dancehall 45's, what i didnt realise until I started thinking about this mix was how many other kinds of 45's i bought there too. So I decided to make this mix with (almost) all of the "other" 45s's I bought (reggae mix to come!!). It ended up pretty random (and even a little emo towards the end) and some of the mixing is a bit dodgy but arrr whatever, at least now I can listen to these 45's on the tape player of my "new" 1989 Honda Civic, hehehe. So anyways, here you are, you can download(!!) it by clicking on this link and then clicking where it says "download original" yay!

ps. in case you were wondering, 45's are those little small "cute" records AKA 7"s, yeup....
